Sandie is a speech-language pathologist whose career before Lexercise included university teaching and research, private practice, and public service. Sandie and her husband live in North Carolina’s Yadkin Valley where they enjoy hiking and live music.

Chad leverages his expertise in entrepreneurship and ed tech to create effective solutions. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, doing DIY projects with his family, and volunteering with Rotary.

Rob is in charge of designing and managing Lexercise’s innovative literacy platform. When he’s not coding, he spends his time hiking, swimming, and playing Pickleball with his wife and kids. He graduated from Stanford University in 1997 with a degree in Computer Science and a focus on robotics and AI.

Liz joined the Lexercise team in 2017 after earning a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Spanish, working in international business, and homeschooling her children into high school. Her personal time is devoted to reading, walking, thrifting old books, and traveling with her family. She enjoys connecting those who use the Lexercise platform with one another and with the resources they need to succeed.

Maria joined the Lexercise team in 2020 after receiving her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from UNC-Greensboro. Maria is passionate about bringing evidence-based literary interventions to schools and works with teachers and administrators through the program life cycle. In her spare time, Maria enjoys running, hiking, cooking, and traveling with her family.

Ryan has been an application developer since he graduated with a Computer Science degree in 2008 from the University of Virginia. Ryan balances his work spending time with his wife and two boys, exploring the outdoors, and gaming.

She strives to make learning both fun and effective through interactive experiences. In her free time, you can find her crocheting, swing dancing with her husband, or immersing herself in the world of video games.

Since graduating with her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the NC State College of Design, Isabel (Iszzy) has devoted her time at Lexercise to refining the product, ensuring it’s as visually stunning and user-friendly as possible. In her free time, you can find her at the rock climbing gym, snuggling her cats, or getting inspired by the work of fellow illustrators.

After her graduation from the NC State College of Design, Micaelah joined the educational media field in 2020 and designed for a medley of clients as they navigated a turbulent world. Pulling from her freelance experience, her role now is to make Lexercise’s product as beautiful, functional, and engaging as it can be. She loves drawing, exploring medieval art, costume making, and watching Star Trek reruns with her husband and corgi.

Elizabeth oversees Lexercise’s three-course professional education sequence as instructor of Course 1 (The Structure of Written English), Course 2 (Multisensory, Structured Literacy Intervention), and Course 3 (Practicum in Structured Literacy Therapy). She enjoys reading novels and playing board games with her family.

Since earning their Masters degree, Molly has dedicated their career to education and more recently, instructional design. For 20 years, they have created engaging and effective learning experiences across K-12, college, and university settings. At the heart of their work is a passion for making complex topics easy to understand. Molly also enjoys playing music, spending time with family, and trail walking through the forests of Yadkin Valley.
