- As a dyslexia teletherapist, Sandie would reward students' hard work with a virtual "kiss" from her dog, Scout, a VERY closeup view of Scout's tongue licking a spoon of peanut butter.
- Sandie loves going hiking with her husband and her dog! Her town is known for its extensive trail system that was spearheaded by her family.
- Before starting Lexercise, Sandie had a dyslexia practice of her own for 21 years. She wanted as many students as possible to be able to benefit from structured literacy, so Sandie took things online!
